Edward George Alfredson, 75-year-old abstractor for the Abstract & Tile Insurance company, died Monday. He had lived in Portland 50 years and made his home at 3908 N. Concord avenue. Born in Sweden, Mr. Alfredson came to Oregon from Minnesota. He had been associated in the abstract and title business 50 years.

A member of Lets lodge No. 156, AF&AM, he also belonged to Rose City chapter, No. 9, OES.

Surviving are his daughter, Mrs. Genevieve Alexander of Medford, and a son, George, of Portland. A sister lives in Minnesota. There are four grandchildren.

Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Colonial mortuary and burial in Riverview cemetery.
