Florine Jones Caesar, 100, of Macon, Ga., died March 28, 2010, at Heritage Healthcare Center in Macon, Ga. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 3, at Mother Easter Baptist Church with the Rev. Emory H. Hopkins officiating, assisted by the Rev. Freddie Castle and Elder William Revill. Burial followed in Oakview Cemetery in Camilla, Ga., with Lewis Balkcom, Roy Bridges, Richard Haywood, Edgar Merriweather II, Todd Myrick, and Charles Todd serving as pallbearers.

Born Oct. 10, 1909, in Decatur County, Ga., she was the daughter of the late Will and Geraldine Jones. She was a seamstress and member of Walker St. Church of God in Christ in Camilla, Ga. She was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy Caesar; two daughters, Rosa Lee Caesar Haywood and Florence Caesar Bridges; a brother, Kain Christian Jones; a sister, Ollie Mae Jones; and a guardian, Minnie Porter.

Survivors include a daughter, Lorene Caesar Brown of Parkville, Md.; a niece, Geraldine Butts Mobley of Moultrie; a stepson, Noah Jackson and wife Evelyn of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Clarence Haywood and wife Annie of Fredricksburg, Va., Charleen Witherspoon of Baltimore, Md., Gwinnett King of Macon, Ga., Joe Herman Haywood of Columbus, Ga., Theotis Bridges and wife Cynthia of Moultrie, Jennifer Brown of Baltimore, Md., Sonja Bridges of Moultrie, Vickie Brown of Parkville, Md., Richard Haywood and wife Stephanie of Macon, Ga., Florine Denise Todd and husband Charles of East Brunswick, N.J., Treasea Bridges of Moultrie, Anita J. Brown of Hyattsville, Md., Roy Bridges of McDonough, Ga., Charles Brown and wife Laura of Baltimore, Md. and Erica Balkcom and husband Lewis of Norman Park; stepgrandchildren, Christine Bridges Herring of New Brunswick, N.J., Harold Jackson, Jeffery Jackson, Noah Jackson Jr., all of Houston, Texas, Curtis Thomas of Fort Sill, Okla., Patricia Sanders, Gwendolyn Jones and Pamela King; 55 great-grandchildren; and 64 great-great-grandchildren.
