RUFUS B. HONACKER

Rufus B. Honaker, 63, of Arnoldsburg, WV, died Monday, March 19th at his home following a long illness. He was born in Pike County, Kentucky, son of the late Raymon and Oma Damron Honaker. He was a shop forman for Houchin Construction Company, a member of the Arnoldsburg United Methodist Church, a member of the Arnoldsburg Volunteer Fire department and VFW Post #5959.

He is survived by his wife, Marie; a son and daughter-in-law Rufus Honaker, Jr. and Sheri of Mt. Zion; daughter and son-in-law Teresa Ann and David Self of Arnoldsburg; brothers Teddy of Pikeville, Kentucky and Randal of Nashville, Tennessee; 4 sisters, Odera Compton of Pikeville, Kentucky, Ella Gowin of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, Ruby Poole of Upper Sandusky, Ohio and Connie Damron of Circleville, Ohio. 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Henry Honaker.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg. Rev. Loren Price will officiate. Interment will be in the Husk Cemetery, Arnoldsburg. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday.
