"Burke, Miss Katherine R., of 43 Fifth Street, McMechen, W.Va., died Monday at 9:45 a.m. at Wheeling Hospital.
She was born at Keyser, W.Va., the daughter of the late Patrick and Anna (Kelly) Burke and has resided in McMechen since childhood.
She was a member of St. James Catholic Church, and the Rosary Altar Society of the parish and the Ladies Auxiliary of the B. of R.T.
Surviving are one brother, Patrick Burke of McMechen; and two nephews, Stephen Burke of McMechen and William Vaughn of Arlington, Va.
Friends may call at Altmeyer's Funeral Home, 214 Marshall St., McMechen. A High Mass of Requiem will be held at St. James Church at 9 a.m. on Thursday. Interment in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Rosary devotions will be held on Wednesday at 8 p.m. at the funeral home."
