Pamela J. Maendele, 54, of Cozad, passed away March 7, 2014, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.
Pam was born May 30, 1959, to Richard and Patsy (Kahre) Maendele at Omaha. The family eventually moved to Cozad. Pam graduated from Cozad High School in 1977. Pam was a dispatcher for the Cozad Police Department and the Dawson County Sheriff's Department for more than 21 years.
Pam was a member of the Church of Christ in Cozad. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and her granddaughters were the apple of her eye. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
Pam is lovingly survived by her mother, Pat (Barney) McNulty; her sons Bill (Jami) of Kearney and Rickey (Colleen) of Le Mars, Iowa; her granddaughters, Serina, Hailey and Aniston; her sister, Jill (Rick) Esslinger of Cozad; an uncle, Gene Kahre of Cozad; an aunt, Sharon (Leonard) Kinser of Cozad; a niece, Mica Esslinger of Cozad; and special friends Deb White of Overton and Peggy Rice of Kearney.
Pam was preceded in death by her father, Richard Maendele.
Services will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 11, at the Church of Christ on Newell with Pastor James McCrickard officiating. Burial will be at the Cozad Cemetery. Berryman Funeral Home in Cozad is in charge of the arrangements.
