Russ owned and operated the Ye Olde Dinner Bell family restaurant in Milwaukee for many years until his untimely death. Russ and his wife Eva (nee Robins) had one son, Stanley.

Isadore Russell (Russ) Adelman, 49,
well-known Milwaukee restauranteur,
died Wednesday June 14, at his home,
6020 N. Santa Monica Blvd. Mr. Adelman
had owned and operated Ye Olde Dinner
Bell, 119 E. Oklahoma Ave., for the past
18 years. Born in Devils Lake, N.D. he
was a resident of Milwaukee for the past
19 years.
Mr. Adelman was a member of the Jewish
Community Center, the Elks Club, Temple
Emanu-El B'ne Jeshurun and B'nai B'rith.
He is survived by his wife, Eve; one son,
Stanley J.; his mother, Mrs Molly Adelman
of Los Angeles, Calif.; one brother, Sidney,
Los Angeles; and three sisters, Mrs Ann Gill,
Milwaukee, Mrs Ruth Forman and Mrs Etta
Newberger, both of Los Angeles.
Services were held on Friday, June 16th at
10 a.m. in the Goodman-Bensman Chapel.
Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery.
