STRANGE, BETTY JO - age 68, of Knoxville, passed away March 5, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lee Strange Jr.; and her parents, Hubert Oglesby and Elizabeth Browning. She is survived by her sons, Roy III, Donald and wife Trena, Scott, and Michael; daughter, Alesa Flanigan; eleven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; brothers, Leon and Darrel Oglesby; aunt, Jean Browning; mother-in-law, Bessie Strange; sister-in-laws, Betty Newcomb and Martha Ward; several other family members. Family will receive friends on Sunday March 9, 2014, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at McCarty-Evergreen Funeral Home with funeral service at 7:00 p.m. The family will gather Monday, March 10, 2014, at 2:45 p.m. at Union Cemetery for a 3:00 p.m. interment service.
