Convicted in the January 1988 shooting death of Vernon Hanan during the course of a bank robbery in San Antonio. Hanan, vice-president of W.F. Castello & Associates, was shot to death in the foyer of Continental Bank when he attempted to stop Adanandus from escaping with $10,000.00 dollars stolen from a bank teller. Adanandus was apprehended four hours later after police, S.W.A.T. teams and the F.B.I were called to the neighborhood residence where he had fled.
