PIONEER COLEMAN WOMAN DIES

Mrs. Luella A. Clark, 95, route 1, Coleman, died today after a brief illness.

The pioneer Coleman resident was born in Millington April 9, 1869. That same year, her parents, the late Mr. and Mrs S. W. Hubbell moved to Coleman Mrs. Clark had been a resident of the community most of her life.

The former Luella Hubbell was married May 16, 1889 at Akron, Mich., to Charles G. Clark. He died in 1929. She was a member of the Coleman Methodist Church where funeral services will be held Thursday noon. Rev. Lynn DeMotes will officiate and burial will be in Warren Township cemetery, Coleman.

Mrs. Clark is survived by four sons, Bert and Merle of Coleman; Sam of Flint and Frank Clark of Midland; two daughters, Mrs. P. C. Guiett of Flint, and Mrs. Harold Huss, route 1. Coleman; 20 grandchildren, 64 great grandchildren and two great great great grandchildren. One son Otto Clark died in 1933.

Friends may call at the O'Laughlin Funeral Home, Coleman until 10 a.m. Thursday and then at the Methodist Church until time of services. Midland Daily News dated 12-15/1964 Page - 2
