Lance Cpl. Adam Wade Kaiser, U.S. Marine Corps, age 19, of Romeoville, died Thursday, Dec. 1, 2005, in Fallujah, Iraq. He was born July 3, 1986, in Loudoun County, Va.

Adam was a graduate of Madison Junior High School in Naperville and a 2004 graduate of Naperville Central High School. He served his country with the U.S. Marine Corps, F Company, 2nd Battalion, 7th Marines (RCT-8, 2nd Marine Division), 1st Marine Division.

He is survived by his parents, Wade and Christine (Bergner) Kaiser, a sister, Sarah Kaiser, and a twin sister, Amanda Kaiser, all of Romeoville; paternal grandparents, Marlow and Patricia Kaiser of Crown Point, Ind.; and maternal grandparents, Jackie and Audrey Bergner of Las Vegas.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, at Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Home, 24021 W. Royal Worlington Drive, Naperville.

Interment will be at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.

Visitation will take place from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8, at the funeral home.

Funeral for slain Marine is delayed

NAPERVILLE — Visitation and funeral times for a local Marine killed in action in Iraq have been changed.

Lance Cpl. Adam Wade Kaiser, 19, of Romeoville, died Dec. 1 in fighting in Fallujah, Iraq.

His funeral, originally set for 10 a.m. today, has been moved to 12:30 p.m. Monday at Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Home, 24021 W. Royal Worlington Drive, Naperville. Internment will be at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.

Visitation hours, originally scheduled for Thursday, will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.

Kaiser was a graduate of Naperville Central High School. He served with the U.S. Marine Corps, F Company, 2nd Battalion, 7th Marines (RCT-8, 2nd Marine Division), 1st Marine Division. 12/09/05
