Garvis Lee West, age 62 of Roosterville, passed away Sunday, March 09, 2014. He was born March 20, 1951 in Carrollton, Georgia to the late Mr. L.M. West and Mrs. Modine West Turner. Prior to his illness, he worked for Hearn Monument and was a part of Christian Echoes. He was a member of Mt. Zion Congregational Holliness Church and was an active member in the music ministries. He loved horses and was a true cowboy. Besides his father, he is preceded in death by son, Garvis Lee West Jr., and adopted brother, Hubert Warren.
