Mr. Bryant had lived in Connecticut for 10 years before moving to Unicoi County. He was a son of the late Mack D. and Nancy E. Bryant. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Ora Lee Bryant and his second wife, Lockey Ann Bryant: one grandson, Larry Edwards: six brothers, Arthur, Bob, Carl, Charlie and Marcus Bryant: two sisters, Minnie Holloway and Violet Ward.
Survivors include four daughter: Hazel Tolley, Nancy Bass, Betty Jean Edwards and Almarie Suter.
