She was born Mother's Day, May 14, 1939 in De Queen, and enjoyed celebrating her birthday with Mother's Day.
She was a retired secretary for Sevier County D.H.S., and a member of the Kern Heights Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School.
She enjoyed performing in the variety show at the Sevier County Museum and was a self-taught pianist who liked playing and singing gospel songs.
Mrs. Brewer was preceded in death by her father, Charley Runnels; her husbands, Gerald David Mobbs and Ben Tugman; a son, Timothy Gerald Mobbs; and a sister, Charlene Friend.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 13, 2014 in the Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Rusty Ross officiating. Burial followed in Chapel Hill Cemetery.
The family received friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at the funeral home.
