Mrs. Carolina Treichel, 77, of 1830 Minnesota Street, wife of Herman Treichel, died this morning at 12:30 o'clock at Mercy hospital where she had been since Jan. 10. She was born In Coelpin, Germany, Aug. 31, 1873, and came to Oshkosh from Germany with her mother and brothers in 189S. She had lived here ever since. On Nov. 10, 1897, she married Herman Treichel In Oshkosh. Mrs. Treichel was a member of Peace Lutheran church and Ladies Aid society of the church.

Survivors are the husband; one on, Erwin Treichel of Galveston. Tex.; three brothers, Gustav and August Woldt of Oshkosh, and William Woldt ef Stevens Point: and a number of nieces and nephews. A daughter, Helen, died in infancy.

Services will be Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock at Marquardt funeral home with the Rev. M. David Fetter officiating. Burial will be in Peace Lutheran cemetery, and friends may call at the funeral home from Friday after noon until the hour of services.
