Miss Dorothea Ola Peffer, aged 45, of Mammoth, died Monday in Latrobe Hospital. Born Jan. 6, 1915 in Mammoth, she was a member of St. Paul’s Reformed Church, Trauger, and was employed by Emerson Imperial Lighting Co., of Loyalhanna.
She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob L. Peffer and 10 brothers and sisters: Mrs. Frank (Donna) Kowatch, Latrobe RD 3; Mrs. Bert (Alice) Bronson, Latrobe RD 1; Lloyd E. McClellan, Falls Church, Virginia; Nevin L. Peffer, Findley, O.; Mrs. Merle (Jean) Schultz, Latrobe RD 1; Ruth, at home; Jacob E., Jr., Mammoth; Mrs. Edward (Thelma) Andrews, Greensburg RD 2; Vernon W., Mt. Pleasant RD 1; Mrs. Joseph (Grace) Lisbon, Mammoth. A number of nieces and nephews also survive. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends at the James P. Gaut Funeral Home, Pleasant Unity from 3 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. The body will lie in state at St. Paul’s Reformed Church, Trauger, from 1 p.m. Thursday until services at 2. Rev. Don C. Markham and Rev. A. H. K. Hoshauer will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, Trauger.
