Beloved brother of Mary Patricia Fields (Wes). Adored uncle of Terese Emge (Thomas), Marita DeBoard (John) and Susan Flynn (Brett). Predeceased by loving niece Lia Szubert. Wonderful granduncle of Josef, Tobias, Kelsey, Morgan, Taylor, Padriag, and Lia.
Monsignor served as a priest for 59 years in the Dioceses of Rockville Centre and Brooklyn, serving as Associate Pastor at St. Patrick's, Huntington; Notre Dame, New Hyde Park; and St. Thomas the Apostle, West Hempstead.
Monsignor served as a Pastor for more than 30 years, first at St. Anthony of Padua, East Northport, and Holy Family, Hicksville. Most recently he lived an active retirement at Holy Name of Mary, Valley Stream.
Services held at the Edward F. Lieber Funeral Homes, Valley Stream, NY. Mass of Transferral & Funeral Mass at Holy Name of Mary Church, Valley Stream. Interment at Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury, NY.
