Edwin Wayne Chandler, age 79, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2014 in Temple, Texas. Graveside services were held at 11 A.M. Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at the Riverview Cemetery in Seymour, with Dr. David Warren, pastor of the First Baptist Church officiating. Services were under the direction of Seymour Memorial Funeral Home.
Wayne was born July 31, 1934 in Seymour, Texas to Carl and Thelma Holland Chandler. He married Linda Gail Garner on August 8, 1985 in Cleburne, Texas. He was a salesman for many years, retiring from Aratech Printing Company. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Methodist Church. He was a 50 year Mason and was a member of Hillsboro Masonic Lodge #196.
He is survived by his wife, Linda of Temple, Texas; one daughter, Rhonda Chandler Clay and husband, Bill of Grand Prairie, Texas; two sons, Eddie Trotter of Amarillo, Texas, and Chris Trotter and wife, Rachel of Tomball, Texas; 8 Grandchildren and two great-grandchildren,one sister, Glenna Worthington and husband, Billy of Corsicana; two brothers, Charles Chandler and wife, Merly of Garland, and Joe Chandler and wife, Lou of Winnsboro, Texas; one aunt, Sue Powell of Garland; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and by one daughter, Lisa Paschal in 1998.
