She was born Nov. 27, 1915 in Peotone, the daughter of Fred and Rosa Behrens Werner.
Miss Werner was retired, a 37-year employee of Roper Corporation Kankakee Division.
She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary; past president of Amvets Auxiliary; and the Stovemounters Union.
Surviving are one sister-in-law, Dorothy Abert of Kankakee; one niece, Linda Mauritzen of Ringold, Ga.; two nephews, David Abert of Orland Hills and Daniel Abert of
Bourbonnais; two great-nieces and one great-nephew.
His parents and stepfather Arthur Abert and a half brother, Donald Abert, are deceased.
