A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 26, 1994, in Hustad Funeral Home Chapel of Rest.
Mr. Truman died of age-related causes Sept. 22. He was 75.
He was born May 21, 1919, in Helena, Mont.
Mr. Truman graduated from Beaverton High School in 1937 and attended Behnke Walker Business College for one year.
During World War II, he served as a sergeant in the Army.
He married Ruth Augur in Portland in June 1946.
Mr. Truman was an accountant for Simpson Timber Co., retiring in 1981.
He was a charter member of the Columbia Gorge Model Railroad Club, a former Sunday school teacher at University Park Congregational Church, a former youth group leader at Haven Bible Church, a former scoutmaster at Astor Elementary School and a former Golden Ball coach for the Portland Park Bureau.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth of Milwaukie; sons, Laurence of Portland and Glen of Milwaukie; daughter, Katie Sedgwick of Milwaukie, brothers, Wallace of Slaem and Don of Pitman, N.J.; and four grandchildren.
Disposition by cremation.
Remembrances: Rose Villa Foundation or the Alzheimer's Disease Center of Oregon.
