On Saturday, the 15th of March, 2014, Glenn Allen Dudding went home to join his brother, Norris, and grandparents, Cline and Ruth Martin, and Raymond and Janie Dudding, after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. Glenn worked for Blue Ridge Sanitation Dept. for 30 years before having to retire because of his illness. He is survived by his parents, Robert and Vera Dudding; a brother, Ronald; a sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Jeff Harlow; a very special friend, Tammy; and many nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, and many special friends who will miss him. Glenn was an outdoors man, gardener, and hunter. Thanks to Dr. Daniel Temeles, Dr. Alan Brijbassie and Amedisys Hospice Care for the care given to Glenn. A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at Oakey's East Chapel with the Rev. John W. McCandlish officiating. Interment will follow in Glade Creek Cemetery.
