Laura M. (Kilbourn) Porter Eddy was the daughter of Jesse and Abigail (Ward) Kilbourn. Rev. Nathaniel Porter was her 1st husband. He died August 17, 1831. He was a minister in the New York Conference/Genesee Conference and Philadelphia Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church. Rev. Lyman Aldrich Eddy was her 2nd husband. They were married in 1849 and he died in 1892. He was a minister in the Oneida Conference and Central New York Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church.
