Patrick Joseph Dillon, 64, of 814 Chestnut avenue, died at Altoona hospital last night at 10 o'clock. Death was due to complications after a short illness.
He was born in Ireland and came to this country when a child. He had been a resident of Altoona for the past 45 years.
He was twice married, his first wife, Mrs Mary (Healey) Dillon died 30 years ago. He is survived by his second wife, Mrs. Annie (Scannell) Dillon and the following children: Charles, Altoona; John, Francis and Mrs. Bessie Gray, to his first wife, all residing in New York. The following step children also survive: Joseph E Scannell, Colorado Springs; T. M Scannell and Mrs. Frank Plummer, Altoona, and these brothers and sisters: James, Mrs. Edward Flanagan and Mrs. James Dillon, of Altoona; Mrs John O'Connell of Long Islnd, Mrs. Fred Stevans, Pottsville, N. Y. and three grandchildren.
He was a member of the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament where funeral services will be held at a time to be announced later. The body may viewed at the Edgar W. Jones funeral home after 2 o'clock this afternoon.
