W. W. Sutton, 61, died Tuesday morning at St. Dominic Hospital after an illness of five months.

He had been a resident of Jackson for the past ten years and lived at 817 Winter St. He was a member of the Ridgecrest Baptist Church.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Ola Shows Sutton, Jackson; one son, Royce Sutton, Jackson; one daughter Sybil Ponder, Jackson; his mother, Mrs. Dinkie Wilson Sutton; two brothers, Kermit Sutton, Odessa, Texas; four sisters, Mrs. James Decianne of Houston, Tex., Mrs. Malcolm Hubbard of Utica, Mrs. Milton B. Overtreet of Washington, D.C., and Mrs. Doris Rostrom, Houston, Tex,; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held from the Baldwin Funeral Home Chapel, Thursday at 3:30 p.m. with Rev. Fred Tarpley officiating. Interment will be in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.

Baldwin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
