John J. Barrett, 77, 2714 Emmet Dr.. died at
9:50 a.m.Sunday at Memorial Hospital
Born Sept. 16,1901, in Cass County, he was
the son of Daniel and Catherine Guckien
Barrett. He was married Aug. 9,1952.to Joann
Frushour, who survives.
He was a retired Cass County Highway
Department employee.
Surviving with the wife are two sons,
Michael. 1700 High St. and Pat, Anderson;
two daughters, Barbara Browning.
Monticello; and Janis Barrett. 1015 High
St.; two sisters. Mary Horney and Agatha
Otten, both of Rt. 1; and five
grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 am. Wednesday
at St. Vincent's Church, with Father Maurice
Mill Jr. officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery
Friends may call at the Kroeger Funeral
Home after 2 p.m. Tuesday. The Rosary will
be recited m 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
