John Charles Fowler Jr "Buddy" is the son of John Charles Fowler & Caroline Newman Fowler. He was born in Louisiana and moved around as a child while his father worked for Barber Asphalt Company. Eventually, they ended up in New Jersey and lived in Sewaren for some time. Buddy lived with Samuel Crane Williams & Edna Fowler Williams (Buddy's sister) in West Orange, New Jersey for part of his life.
