Mrs. James F Ward
Mrs. Flora Ward, 53, wife of James F. Ward, grocer at New Jasper, died at her home in New Jasper Monday evening at 7:15 o'clock. Death was due to a complication of diseases following a lingering illness. Mr. and Mrs. Ward came here from Kentucky in 1928 and resided in the Collins neighborhood, north of Xenia, before moving to New Jasper. Mrs. Ward is survived by her husband and three children: James Ward, Middletown, O.; and Charles and Helen Ward, at home. Roy Evans, Russell, Ky., and Arthur Evans, New Jasper, children by a former marriage, also survive besides her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Fraley, Hopewell, Ky. The following brothers and sisters survive: Mrs. Ruth Davis, Crandon, Wis.; Mrs. Barbara Tussey, Ashland, Ky.; W.B. Fraley, Newcastle, Pa.; H.F. Fraley, Largent, W. Va.; J.J. Fraley, Pontiac, Mich., and A.S. Fraley, Russell, Ky. Brief funeral services will be held at the home in New Jasper Tuesday evening at 8 o'clock and the body will be taken to Hopewell, Ky., for burial Wednesday.
