Lettie Klipp Brave, 81, passed from this life at a hospital in San Antonio, TX on November 20, 2012.

She was born and raised in Manteno, IL on February 20, 1931 to Frederick and Etta Shipp Klipp.

As a young woman, Lettie met the love of her life, WM D. Brave. They were married on July 26, 1952 in Manteno. Lettie and William lived their lives in various cities in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Texas.

Throughout their 60 years of marriage she enjoyed house boating and traveling by recreational vehicle across the country. Lettie was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Women American Legion Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her seven brothers.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory include her loving husband WM D. Brave; two sons, Mark Brave and wife Jennifer, Michael Brave and wife Julie; grandchildren, Penny Burstad and husband Montey, Nick Brave and wife Mel, and Nicole Hemphill and husband Peter; great grandchildren, Olivia Burstad, Connor Burstad, and Isabella Hemphill.

Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at Brown Funeral Home in Manteno, IL with visitation for friends and family held at 10:00 AM prior to services.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to the charity of choice.
