Arriving in Vietnam 14 December 1968 Donald was assigned to H&MS-36, MAG-36, 1st Marine Air Wing. Donald was injured in a vehicle accident and died as a result of bodily injuries, at the US Army 85th Evacuation Hospital.
Donald served his country for two years.
Survived by his parents, Donald J and Nellie D Garvey Sr of 1610 Washington, Florissant, Missouri.
