Joseph Napoleon Turner was born November 29, 1926, in Capron, Virginia to Joseph Rubin "Joe" and Ariey Francis (Jordan) Turner. At age 72, he passed on April 16, 1999, at his residence in Riverside, Ohio.

Joseph was a retired Chief Warrant Officer of the United States Army after 27 years of service, retired program manager at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base after 20 years of service and employed at H&R Block for 15 years.

He was a member of Mount Enon Missionary Baptist Church and the Retired Officers Association.

Preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Ariey Turner and brother, James Milton Turner FaG# 1266758.

Joseph is survived by his wife, Mary R Turner; sons and daughters-in-law, William Stephen (Karen) Turner of Indianapolis, Indiana, Rodney D. (Nancy) Turner of Dallas, Texas, Michael A. of Dayton; sisters and sons-in-law, Salfonia (William) Bryant, Rose (William) Neal, both of New York; aunt, Edna (John) Morris of New York; 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, adopted grandchildren, Marian and Sarah Shenouda,
