J.N. WELLS DIES AT MOUNDSVILLE J.N. Wells, 73, retired farmer and a former Moundsville councilman and World War II draft board member, died at his home, 312 Tenth St., Moundsville, yesterday at 10:30 a.m. after a brief illness.
He was born at Wells Bottom, Marshall county on January 3, 1876 and lived there until 1922 when he came to Moundsville.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Agnes T. Wells, two sons, C.P. Wells of Webster Springs, and Robert H. Wells of Moundsville, a daughter, Mrs. Rual Dial, of Moundsville, two brothers, C.K. and R.N. Wells, both of Wells Bottom, and eight grandchildren.
The body will be removed today to the late home by the Grisell funeral home. Monday at 8p.m. the Rosary will be recited. A Requiem High Mass will be sung Tuesday at 9 a.m. by the Rev. Father M.J. Coghlan of St. Francis Xavier Catholic church and burial will be in Greenlawn cemetery.
