Mrs. Harvey Bender, wife of Harvey Bender of 61 Plant street, died at a local hospital yesterday afternoon at 3:80 o'clock. She was a woman well and favorably known, and her passing will bring sorrow to her many friends.
She was born in Willlamstown in 1881 and came to this city between 36 and 40 years ago. She was married 29 years ago last November.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two-daughters, Florence M. and Grace E. Bender of this city; her mother, Mrs. C. Dunham of Williamstown; three sisters, Mrs. W. Folls of Willlamstown, Mrs. H. Chase of Syracuse and Mrs. G. Alpeter of Los Angeles, CA and two brothers, Lucien and Nelson Smith of Parish. Utica Herald Dispatch, Tuesday Evening, October 7, 1913
