KANURSKI, Perka (nee Tesla) On December 26, 2013 Perka peacefully fell asleep in the Lord at Shalom Village, in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Milorad Kanurski. Loving mother of Mary (Dennis Benassi), Angie (Rajko Djurdjevic), Bato Kanurski, Nada (Scott Tupling). Cherished Baba of 11 grandchildren, Jelena (Miodrag Bjelic), Nina (Fr. Deacon Damjan Radojicic), Stephanie, Laura, Jovan (Tijana Djurdjevic), Melissa, Adam (Jessica Tupling), Natalie, Dane and Rachel. Pre-deceased by grandson Daniel Benassi. Cherished Prababa of Maksim Bjelic and Luka Djurdjevic. Loving sister of Ratko (Slobodanka Tesla), Nevenka (Mihajilo Maric) and Mara Trifkovic and many extended family, kumovi and friends. Predeceased by parents Marko and Andja Tesla, siblings Slavka Panic, Nikola Tesla, Petar Tesla, Bosa(nee Tesla)Barbulov (spouse Bato Barulov), Zora Tesla and Mara Tesla. Perka has been a long-time member of the St. Nicholas Church on Barton Street. Visitation will be held at the L.G. Wallace Funeral Home, 151 Ottawa Street N. on Sunday, December 29, 2013 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. with Pomen at 7:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church, 1415 Barton Street E., on Monday, December 30, 2013 at 12 noon with the Very Reverend Fathers Vojislav Pavlovic, Geoffrey Korz, and Father Deacon Damjan Radojicic officiating. .
