Danny was cremated in California and sent to Lizton to be buried next to his mother, step-father and sister. His obituary is listed below:

Daniel Phillip Beers
Daniel Phillip Beers, Master Jeweler, 56, of Escondido, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 19, 2004.
Dan will be remembered as a gifted artist who owned and operated D. Beers Jewelers in Escondido for 30 years.
He was a Master Jeweler first and foremost; having a natural talent for creating jewelry as a young boy, as a young man his ability was perfected through formal training. Dan was a true Master Jeweler. His friendly smile, his passion for creativity, his drive for excellence, and his attention to detail and intricacy will live on through his beautiful creations.
He will be remembered by all as an artist who prided himself on creating with perfection; but moreover as a dear friend to the many who knew him.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Rhonda; his mother, Judy, in Indiana; and his brothers Jerry, Bo, Brandon, Rick, Bob and Glenn.
Dan will be interred in Pittsboro, Indiana, next to his beloved sister, Pam.
Although no local services will be held, a memorial book will be available for remembrance sentiments in the jewelry store later in January.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Escondido Fish and Game Association.
