Kathleen A. Beck, of Janesville, died at Haven House Hospice on Monday, Nov. 14, 2005, at 11:10 p.m. She was born on July 31, 1964, in Janesville, WI, to Robert and Barbara Falkenstein. In 1968 Kathleen and her sister, Marilee, were placed in the foster home of Richard and June Lehr, where they grew up. Kathleen graduated from Parker Senior High School in 1982. David F. Beck and Kathleen A. Falkenstein were married on Feb. 24, 1990. She was a member of Cargill United Methodist Church, UMW Rebekah Circle, and the America Rebekah Lodge No. 26. She is survived by her loving husband, David; her mom, June; 5 brothers: Ronald (Janice) Lehr of Iola, WI, Steve Lehr of Cambridge, Gerald (Diane) Lehr of Janesville, Thomas (Cindy) Lehr of Stoughton, and Wallace Falkenstein of Janesville; 3 sisters: Debby (Ralph) Grady of Ferguson, MO, Suzanne (Larry) Schweiger of Plantation, FL, and Marilee (Hesiquio) Torres of Jacksonville, FL; mother-in-law, Lorraine Beck of Beloit; sisters-in-law, Anne Beck of Sheboygan and Susan (Ernie) Patnode of Beloit; brother-in-law, Chris (Ellen) Beck of Houston, TX; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her birth parents; dad, Richard Lehr; brother, Bob Falkenstein; nephew, Ronnie Falkenstein; and father-in-law, Ralph A. Beck.
