Rose M. Sandoval, 77, of Pueblo, born Sept. 26, 1924, went to be with the Lord on Aug. 20, 2002. Preceded in death by her husband, Albert J. Sandoval; parents, Mary and Felix Montoya; grandchild, Duane Casias; brother, Lawrence Montoya; and sister, Sue Wolfkiel. She leaves to cherish her memory 11 children: Andrea (David) DeLeon, Albert David Sandoval, Theresa (Charles) Reyes, Patricia (John R.) Mascarenas, Ronald Sandoval, Thomas (Benita) Sandoval, Mark (Sheron) Sandoval, Ted (Linda) Sandoval, Sidney (Danny) Cruz, Eric (Sharon) Sandoval and Lorraine Sandoval; 24 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, six sisters, two brothers, numerous relatives and friends. A member of the Legion of Mary and devout Catholic, she received great comfort and joy from her Catholic religion, her children and family members, as well as going to Cripple Creek. At her request, there will be no viewing. Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, 2002. Mass will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 23, 2002. Both services will be held at the Sacred Heart Cathedral, 414 W. 11th St. Interment, Imperial Memorial Gardens.
