"GREEN TWP. - William F. 'Bill' Abbott, 76, died Nov. 4. He was a life resident of the Akron area, retired from the General Tire Co. after 42 years service, and also operated his own farm. He was a member of the U.R.W. Local 9 and the Queen of Heaven Church. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Elizabeth; sons and daughters-in-law... daughter... brother, Charles Abbott of Akron; sisters, Dorothy Severns, Bernice Dunbar, both of Akron, Betty Abbott of Southwest Harbor, Maine and Josephine Plesslinger of Vista, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Calling hours TONIGHT, 7 to 9, at the Schermesser Funeral Home, Suburban South Chapel, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd. (Route 619). Funeral services Friday, 1 p.m., at the funeral home, Fr. Sam Ciccolini officiating. Interment East Liberty Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Interval Brotherhood Homes, 3445 S. Main St."
