She and her husband Lee Benson lived in Stigler and owned/operated the Benson Cafe from 1946 to 1951. She loved antiques and spent many hours refinishing them. She is survived by one son, Bill Williams; one grandson Steven Williams; two great grandsons, Kyle and Connor Williams, all of Tulsa and one sister Dorothy Baldwin of Muskogee.
She was preceded in deathby her husband of 55 years, Lee Benson; one sister, Mildred Ballard; one brother, Hugh Phillips; and a grandson, Don Williams.
