Betty A. (Watts) Morris, 84, of No. Truro, died Thursday March 20, 2014 at Cape Cod Hospital following a brief illness. She was the wife of George B. Morris Jr. Born in Braintree on January 30, 1930; she was the daughter of the late Earl and Marion (Ford) Watts. She was a graduate of Braintree High School and had lived in Braintree before moving to No. Truro when they got married. For many years she managed her husband's business, George Morris Excavation of Truro, as bookkeeper and receptionist.
She and her husband recently celebrated 64 years together. They were married on February 11, 1950. They truly loved spending time together. She was a vibrant, fun loving woman, dedicated to her loving family. George and Betty have 1 daughter and 4 sons. They are Pamela Ferreira and her husband Thomas of Wellfleet, Paul A Morris and his wife Dorothy of No. Truro, Glenn J. "Buzzy" Morris and his wife Louise of Wellfleet, Barry Morris and his wife Amanda of No. Truro and Keith M. Morris and his wife Kathy of Truro. She is the grandmother of Josh, Chris, Nick, Jake, Jenna, Angie, Heather, Teri, and Julia. She is also the great grandmother of Josh, Ava, Madelyn, Sophia, Makenzie and Brayden. Betty has a twin sister, Shirley Graziano of Middleboro and a brother Leslie Watts of Easton. She was the sister of the late Ruth Nelson.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Peter the Apostle Church 11 Prince St. Provincetown on Tuesday March 25, 2014 at 11am. Internment will take place in the family lot at Sacred Heart Cemetery Truro. Visiting Hours are Monday 4-7pm at the Gately Funeral Home 94 Harry Kemp Way Provincetown.
