Frieda Armstrong was born on March 28, 1922 in Yonkers, New York. She passed away Saturday, March 22, 2014 in Dallas, TX. Frieda enjoyed knitting, playing bingo, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband James Robert Armstrong. Frieda is survived by her daughters Irene Hallmon and husband Billy, Janice Spitzenberger and husband Garland, Sharon Hutcheson and husband Frank; grandchildren Landon Armstrong, Ben Spitzenberger, David Hallmon, Josh Hutcheson, Elizabeth Hallmon, and Britt Hutcheson; five great grandchildren, brother Paul Savas, and a host of many family members and friends. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 24, 2014 from 6-8pm at Grove Hill Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at Grove Hill Funeral Home with interment to follow at Grove Hill Memorial Park.
