MRS. ALICE DOBSON, 83 PIONEER DIES - Was Born in Guilford Township in 1844, the Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Brink

Mrs. Alice Brink Dobson, widow of the late Howard W. Dobson, died late Friday afternoon at her home 312 N. Avon st., after an illness of several years.

Mrs. Dobson was born Oct. 13, 1844, in Guilford township, a daughter of John and Thankful Campbell Brink, pioneer setters in this part of the state. She was married to Howard W. Dobson, Oct. 3, 1864. He preceded her in death more than 20 years ago. A son, John died in 1917.

She is survived by two daughters, the Misses Alice May and Frances S. Dobson both at home.

Mrs. Dobson was a member of Second Congregational church and for many years was active in church affairs.

Funeral arrangements had not been completed today.

Funeral services for Mrs. Alice Brink Dobson, widow of Howard W. Dobson, who died Friday afternoon at her home at 312 North Avon street, will be held Monday morning at 10:30 o'clock at the home, the Rev. John Gordon officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery.
