Edna Whaley Blythe, 86, of Oak Ridge, died Monday, April 16, 2001, at the NHC Health Care Center.
Mrs. Blythe was born March 17, 1915 in Sevier County, Tenn., the daughter of Noah Elmer and Lily Rosetta Whaley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, J.B. Blythe Sr.; a daughter, Marjorie Ann Blythe; a grandson, Tommy Blythe; a great-grandson, Jesse Blythe; a brother, Earl Whaley; and two sisters, Patsy Blanche Howard and Mabel Whaley.
Mrs. Blythe was a member of Faith Promise Church.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Ben and Sue Blythe, Dandridge; two daughters and a son-in-law, Earlene Brewer, Oak Ridge, and Jean and James L.
