Home -- Funeral Saturday
Mrs. Alice Hawkins RIese, 64,
died last evening at her home in
Groton City.
Mrs. Riese was born November
19, 1882 at Juda, Wis., where she
was married to August J. Riese
February 10, 1903. Mrs. Riese and
her husband moved to Groton City
in 1911 and had lived there since
that time.
She was a member of the Con-
gregational Church, Cortland-
ville Grange, and the Home Bureau.
Besides her hnsband she is survived
by five sons, Ernest Riese,
Lawrence Riese, Stanley Riese, snd
Morris Riese of Groton, and Vernon
Riese ef Cortland; four
daughters, Mrs. Gladys Breeds,
Mrs. Lawrence Ward, and Mrs. Hollis
Warner of Groton, and Mrs.
Josepb Bana of DeRruyter; three
sisters snd four brothers in Wis-
consin, and 21 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at
2 p. m. Saturday in the Groton
City Church. Interment will be in
McLean Cemetery. Friends may
call Friday afternoon and evening
at the late home in Groton City.
