Ruth A. Hedegaard, 76, of 430 Wilcox St., Ft. Atkinson, died Sunday, Nov. 20, 2005, at Ft. Atkinson Health and Rehab Care Center. She was born on Oct. 22, 1929, in Ravanna, MI, the daughter of Raymond and Florence (Clark) Hosmer. A Janesville resident most of her life, she married Gerald Hedegaard on Aug 18, 1951, in Janesville. He died on April 4, 1964. Ruth is survived by a son, John (Karen) Hedegaard of Janesville; 2 daughters, Kris (Jeff) Van Horn of Milton and Carol Parks of Janesville; 9 grandchildren: Shanda, Tina, Mike, Jared, Bethany, Toni, Danielle, Kurt and Melvin; 5 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Dorothy Way and Edith (Tom) Styburski of Coopersville, MI, Dolores Kappy (Oscar Ole ) Olsen of Muskegon, MI, Raymond (Marie) Hosmer of Graham, WV, and Rhea Kerschner of Tekonsha, MI. She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Cora; son, Kevin; 3 brothers: Wayne, Donald and Robert Hosmer; and special sister, Irene Davey.
