Obituary published in the Statesman Journal; March 19th, 2014

Beulah Tallman, 87, passed away March 16, 2014 surrounded by loving family. A Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 20 2:00 PM, at Keizer Funeral Chapel in Keizer Oregon.
She was born on October 20, 1926 in Knott County, Kentucky to Alta (Madden) and Curtis Amburgey. She had 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
She met the love of her life Everett Tallman at the age of 14 and four years later they were married on April 27, 1944. They were married for 69 wonderful years.
She is survived by three sons, Roger (Josie) Tallman, Steven (Debra Jo) Tallman, and Mark Tallman. She is also survived by two siblings, Louise Pyle and Jack Amburgey.
She has four grandchildren, Troy (Shannon) Tallman, Tracie (Matt) Corpe, Ryan (Jennifer) Tallman and Jessika Caudy.
One of her greatest joys was her five great-grandchildren. Shelby, Austin, Hannah, Madison and precious Zoey Scarlett Tallman.
Throughout her life she was known by the name of Bootsie. That name seemed to describe her just perfect, she was tough, she was playful, she was funny, she was strong, she was loving, but most of all she was giving.
Her life was spent caring and cooking for her family. Nothing brought her more happiness than the little things in life. She loved the farm, she loved to fish, she loved to watch the seasons change and surprisingly she loved to do laundry.
She was a faithful servant of the Lord and everyone could, see, feel and hear him through her. Everyone who touched her life got to experience the true meaning of unconditional love.
She was always thinking of others and even now she would want you to know, she is at peace and was not afraid of going, just sad for those she left behind.
In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Oregon Chapter of the MS Society.
