He worked at International Harvester Inc. For ten years and was also an employe of City Water Works for ten years. He was a member of the Evansville Rescue Mission.
Surviving are his wife of 21 years, Lillie Virginia; a stepson, Franklin Willis Ainsworth of Hattiesburg, Miss; three sisters, Mrs. Frances Barnett and Mrs. Clifta Housman of Evansville, and Mrs. Vinie Baize of Tucson, Ariz., nieces and nephews.
