Charles Laurie Meiley passed away March 2, 2014 at his home in San Jose, California. Charles was born and raised in Naperville. At Naperville Community High School he was an honor student and a champion wrestler, going to the state competition in 1961 and placing second in his weight class. Charles received his undergraduate and master degrees in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from Purdue University. He had a long and rewarding career at IBM working on leading edge computer science projects. Charles was preceded in death by his father Harold E. Meiley, Carolyn Janet Meiley his mother and his sister Judy Stevenson. Charles was 70. Interment will be at the Naperville Cemetery.
