Born May 11, 1913 in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Joseph B. and Nancy (nee Martin) Boggs.
She was a retired Registered Nurse at Anderson Memorial Hospital and a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
Surviving are two sons, Samuel H. Earle, Jr. of New York, and Joseph E. (Jackie) Earle, of Princeton, NJ; ne daughter, Jackie E. (Joe B) Davis of Sumter; two grandchildren, Tiffany Earle (Matt) Bryan of Greenville, and Joe B. Davis, III of Conway; four great-grandchildren, Everett, Belle, Madeline, and Elias Bryan.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Mamie Marchbanks Jennings, Alma Boggs, and Agnes Clamp.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park conducted by Pastor Robert Wilde. The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 209 Broad Street, Anderson, SC 29621.
