Salt Lake City, Utah - Evan Frank Allen, 62, a long time area farmer of Blackfoot, died Wednesday at Salt Lake, City, Utah hospital of cancer.

Born March 12, 1915 at Geneva, Idaho, he was the son of Eugene Frank and Etta Mary Baldwin Allen. He attended schools in the Howe-Arco area and farmed in the Blackfoot area most of his life.

He married Erma Soulo, he was later divorced. He served in the U.S. Army during WWll. His favorite past times were hunting and fishing.

Survivors include two half brothers, Charles A Turner of Blackfoot and Clifford Harris of Rupert and a sister Grace Christopherson of Boise.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Packham Mortuary Funeral Chapel at Blackfoot and the family will greet friends before the services at the mortuary. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery at Idaho Falls.
