Marilyn J. Reigle, 82, died Monday, Dec. 12, 2005 in Monroe Clinic Hospital.
She was born April 13, 1923 in Brodhead, the daughter of John and Eva (Thompson) Pinnow. She graduated from Brodhead High School. She worked for C.S. Pierce Music Company. Marilyn married Roy E. Reigle on Sept. 9, 1943 in Brodhead. Roy died on April 21, 1995. She was a member of the Congregational United Church of Christ, Brodhead, where she served on the Women's Guild, Anna Circle, Board of Diacitants and Church Historian. Marilyn loved gardening, flowers, sewing, reading and playing the organ.
She is survived by four sons: Barry Reigle of Stoughton, Jerry (Linda) Reigle of Beloit, Bruce (Barbara) Reigle of Brodhead, and Kevin (Laurie) Reigle of Janesville; five daughters; Mary Ellen (Larry) Malcook, Barbara Nordeng, Jill (Mike) Partridge, all of Brodhead, Carol (Danny) Hintzman of Janesville, and Julie Strothman of Beloit; 22 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; grandson, Jason Partridge; son-in-law, Curt Strothman;and brother, John "Jack" Pinnow.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 16, 2005 at the Congregational United Church of Christ, Brodhead, with Rev. Tiff Bates officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Brodhead. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Congregational United Church of Christ, Brodhead. Memorials may be given to the church in Marilyn's name. Everson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
