Eugene Brummett 82, Indianapolis, died Monday afternoon, October 8, 2007 at Bloomington Hospital in Bloomington, IN. He was born April 9, 1925 in White County, IN to Richard C. and Anna M. (Saadoff) Brummett, both of whom preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Dale Brummett, and a sister, Marcella Brummett. He was a truck driver for Kibler Trucking in Indianapolis, IN for 42 years, retiring in 1986. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and woodworking. Survivors: wife, Norma J. (Bettcher) Brummett of Gosport, IN (married May 31, 1947); sons, Roy Richard Eugene Brummett of Indianapolis, Kenneth Lee Brummett of Coatesville, Jerry Lynn Brummett of Ellettsville, and Roger Alan Brummett of Gosport; brothers, James Brummett of Plainfield and Clarence Brummett of New Palestine, IN; 9 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, October 12 at Carlisle & Son Funeral Chapel, Mooresville, with calling there from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 10 and from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, October 11.
